In addition, the Pacific Palisades Hotel is personally committed, through its own on-property initiatives to follow such practices as recycling all office toner cartridges (it's so easy, you can do it too), using blue recycle bins in all hotel office space, and only using "Save-A-Tree" paper (post consumer printing). Additionally, throughout the hotel, the following eco-friendly practices are also working their way behind the scenes—all in the spirit of conservation:

  • We use low-flow water valves in all guest rooms.
  • We've made the switch...to energy efficient light bulbs.
  • We encourage guests to hang their towels in the bathroom—so we'll know not to replace them, if you prefer, on stays longer than more than one night.
  • Eco-conscious cleaners are used by our housekeeping department.
  • We offer organic products in your honour bar.
  • We participate in composting waste in the kitchen.
  • We use a variety of organic ingredients in our kitchen and catering departments.
  • We participate in the carbon-offset initiative during your registration—just tell us to Green your flight at check-in, we'll calculate the carbon offset for you.
